I knew this would come at some point. Now it’s just a matter of finding out how it will actually affect your business page, and other content you share on Facebook.

The way that people “like” content in Facebook is very effortless. I’ve been a proponent of engagement over likes so this just confirms my theory of the value of social media for business, the more effort it takes to do something on any given platform, the more value it has.

This essentially means that pages that get a lot of clicks or likes, but don’t rank well in the surveys, are going to be less popular.  To put it simply, the ‘click bait’ or ‘like bait’ type posts on Facebook are going to become less effective in the near future.
